Hey, I'm a winner! - - 2/365
Today I had my picture all planned out, and then my wife called. She told me I won a raffle at the local grocery store. I won 'The World's Largest Christmas Stocking.' DAY 153/365: Grasping The Possibilities
One of my favorite things to do when I was little was playing with my Hot Wheels. There was a long period of time when - whenever I had any money with my name on it - I'd beg my mom or dad to take me to the store to add to my collection. At recess, we'd take our cars out to this wonderfully knobby old tree that had a spectacular shelf of dirt next to it. From it, we imagined an endless host of terrains and scenarios that transformed the schoolyard into realms of adventure. As a teacher, I love seeing my students still playing with toy cars. They are the stuff of simplicity and the canvas of imagination. Today's Daily Shoot assignment: Think of a favorite childhood sport, game, or activity. Make a nostalgic photo today.
